2023 M3 Campaign Incentive

Collegiate chapters that participate in the M3 Campaign at 100% – meaning every active member of the chapter makes a personal contribution or fundraises the equivalent of $18.52 before March 31 – will receive a Phi Mu Foundation Sisters Helping Sisters tote bag for every member of the chapter!

Alumnae and individuals who make contribute $100 or more to the campaign will also receive the tote bag.

You can support the collegiate or alumnae chapter of your choice with your M3 Campaign gift by heading over to their fundraising page and making your gift on their page.

Development Advisory Council

If you are a Phi Mu member working in fundraising, development or advancement – we’re looking for interested professionals to join the Phi Mu Foundation Development Advisory Council. Members of the Development Advisory Council will give advice on fundraising strategy and ideas, as well as share industry best practices. The Council would meet one or two times annually to share ideas, feedback and offer a peek behind the curtain with the Foundation’s fundraising efforts. It will also provide an opportunity for development professionals to expand their networks and meet and learn from other Phi Mus in the industry. The first meeting will be Wednesday, February 22 at 12:00 p.m. ET via Zoom.

If you’re interested in serving on the Development Advisory Council, please send an email with your resume to Executive Director Kristin Tofanelli at ktofanelli@phimu.org.

Updates to the M3 Campaign

We’re excited to announce a few updates to the annual M3 Campaign, based on some great feedback we’ve collected from chapter philanthropy chairs.

First, the M3 Campaign has received a fresh, new look with an updated logo that features our tagline – Sisters Helping Sisters. Phi Mu Foundation is the only charity in the world that operates exclusively to support Phi Mu women and we want to make sure that everyone who participates in the campaign knows that their contributions support our sisterhood!

Next, we’ve expanded the campaign so that anything that you fundraise for Phi Mu Foundation from now until March 2023 will count toward your M3 Campaign total.  Your goal will remain the same as it has been in the past – to fundraise the equivalent of $18.52 per member in your chapter. If you need fundraising ideas – small or large – check out the M3 Campaign Toolkit on our website.

Lastly, we will be launching a new online fundraising platform at the end of this month that will make crowdfunding much easier! We’ll send chapter philanthropy chairs another email when that launches and we’ll have a webinar to show more about how chapters can leverage this platform to increase fundraising for Sisters Helping Sisters.

Thank you for your incredible support of Phi Mu Foundation and Sisters Helping Sisters. Your contributions make a difference to Phi Mu women!

If you have any questions about the changes to the M3 Campaign or want to talk about fundraising ideas, please contact Leinin Schuerr at lschuerr@phimu.org.
