2025-26 Annual Report

A Message From Our Leadership

Dear Sisters and Friends,

One of the most incredible parts of serving Phi Mu Foundation is witnessing the power of Sisters Helping Sisters and the impact we create together by investing in the lifetime development of women. Because of your contributions to Phi Mu Foundation, members are advancing their education with less debt, finding hope and support in their greatest times of need and discovering the confidence to become the best versions of themselves. These are the life-changing moments your generosity makes possible.

This past year, we spent significant time breathing new life into many of our annual fund campaigns, including the successful launch of True to Phi Mu, which united our collegiate and alumnae members in support of Sisters Helping Sisters. We also continued to strengthen our partnership with Phi Mu Fraternity through investments in the member experience, made strides in modernizing our governance structure, and looked to the research from the Amplifying Sorority Campaign and Cygnus Research to better understand how we can engage and inspire generations of Phi Mu women.

None of these monumental efforts are possible without the generous support of our donors. Your commitment to ensuring Phi Mu women have what they need to succeed is unmatched – whether it’s supporting the Founders Day Chapter Challenge, endowing an academic scholarship or establishing a planned gift – you never fail to answer the call when our sisters are in need. And we know that the needs of our members only continue to grow, which makes your contributions now to Phi Mu Foundation more meaningful than ever.

For 175 years, Phi Mu women have cared for one another through every season of life. Together, we are ensuring that legacy continues by strengthening our sisterhood today while investing in the women who will lead it tomorrow.

Thank you for believing in the lifetime development of women and for making every life-changing moment possible.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Investing in Leadership & Educational
Programs to Empower Sisters

As a Phi Mu Foundation donor, your contribution is changing women’s lives every day. Your generosity provides access to programs that help Phi Mu sisters strengthen their decision-making skills, become more resilient and move confidently toward achieving their goals.

We launched the Funding Life-Changing Moments Campaign in December 2025, focusing on raising $1.5 million for Phi Mu Fraternity’s number one funding priority – Leadership and Educational Programming. As of the press date of this report, we’ve raised more than $900,000 in cash and pledges – 60% of the campaign goal – with 22 major gifts from Phi Mu sisters.

I believe that when we invest in women’s leadership and education, we create ripple effects that extend far beyond any one individual. Supporting the Life Changing Moments Campaign is my way of helping ensure that more women have access to opportunities that empower them to lead, serve, and thrive.”

Breaking Down Barriers for Women Furthering Their Education

Awarding academic scholarships has long been part of Phi Mu Foundation’s history, dating all the way back to our first scholarship award of $100 in 1956. Fast forward to 2026, your contributions now help make sure increasing tuition costs don’t become a barrier for sisters pursuing their education.

In 2025-26, Phi Mu Foundation awarded $190,250 in academic scholarships to 124 collegiate and alumnae members across 62 chapters.

The Phi Mu Foundation scholarship has significantly shaped my future by alleviating financial stress, allowing me to focus more on my studies and personal growth. With this support, I can pursue my degree in marketing without the burden of excessive student loans. This scholarship has also inspired me to maintain high academic standards and strive for excellence, knowing that there are people who believe in my potential.”

Honoring 175 Years of Phi Mu
Through Historic Preservation

We invested $3,800 in Historic Preservation during 2025-26 including support for the Historic Preservation Committee’s visit to Phi Mu National Headquarters to refresh and update various displays in the Heritage Museum ahead of the 2026 National Convention in Atlanta.

In 2025-26, Phi Mu Foundation invested $3,800 in Historic Preservation efforts.

Showing Up When Sisters Need Us Most

Our Creed tells us to ‘Lend a Helping Hand,’ and through the Foundation’s Member Assistance Program, we do just that. Through Member Assistance Grants, we provide financial support to Phi Mu members who are experiencing medical events, natural disasters, interpersonal violence and other dire circumstances.

In 2025-26, we awarded $3,270 in member assistance grants to four members facing difficult times in their lives.

The reason I have such passion for the Empowerment Fund is that I wanted to help our members who have specific vulnerabilities of lived experience with interpersonal violence. I think it’s important that we all understand that being in an abusive situation does have financial impacts and by being able to have support from [Phi Mu Foundation] member assistance, that can really help someone leave an abusive situation.”
