18 Hours & 52 Minutes of Giving

On Tuesday, October 24, the Foundation will host Phi Mu’s first day of giving, where sisters and friends will come together for 18 Hours & 52 Minutes to rally support for Phi Mu’s leadership, scholarship, philanthropic and educational programs, and the preservation of our 165 year history.

Whether it’s providing an academic scholarship to a first-generation college student, awarding an emergency grant to a woman who is facing life-altering circumstances at home, or helping fund the Fraternity’s cutting-edge leadership and educational programs for chapter leaders … 18 Hours & 52 Minutes of giving is an exciting opportunity for all alumnae to join us in supporting the lifetime development of Phi Mu women.

The 18 Hours & 52 Minutes day of giving will begin on October 24 at 6:00 a.m. ET and end at 12:52 a.m. ET. Throughout the day, more than 85 Social Media Ambassadors will help us spread the word online to their personal social media networks, educating and inspiring others to join us in supporting Phi Mu. The Foundation Staff will be leading the day of giving efforts from Phi Mu National Headquarters, where we’ll be sharing exciting challenge gifts and giving updates from the Foundation social media accounts.

Here are a few ways you can join in the fun:

  • Become an 18 Hours & 52 Minutes Social Media Ambassador! You’ll receive a social media toolkit full of content and graphics and have access to a web-based training on October 10 at 8 p.m. ET. Click here to sign up.
  • Go live on Facebook or post an Instagram story to share your support for 18 Hours & 52 Minutes of giving.
  • Make a gift during the 18 Hours & 52 Minutes day of giving, share it on social media and inspire others to do the same!
