Save the Date – 18 Hours & 52 Minutes of Giving

Phi Mu Foundation’s annual day of giving – 18 Hours & 52 Minutes – is right around the corner on Tuesday, October 27, beginning at 6:00 a.m. ET. This will be our fourth day of giving and over the years, this day has transformed into a celebration of Phi Mu sisterhood! Sisters from across the country will join us on social media to share stories of how Phi Mu has impacted their lives and why it’s important to give back to the Foundation and help preserve the Phi Mu experience for generations to come.

If you’d like to get in on the 18 Hours & 52 Minutes of Giving fun, here are a few ways you can join us:

  • Join the 18 Hours & 52 Minutes of Giving Leadership Circle. With a gift of $500 or more, Leadership Circle members will be listed on our website and celebrated on social media during the day of giving. Members interested in becoming members of the Leadership Circle can get more information by contacting Senior Director of Development Mandi Young.

  • Create a Challenge Gift to encourage others to give back! Challenge Gifts can be established with a gift of $1,000 or more from an individual or group of people prior to the day of giving. If you’d like to brainstorm ideas for a challenge gift or establish yours today, contact Senior Director of Development Mandi Young.

In the meantime, make sure you’re following @PhiMuFoundation on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram so that you can keep up with the latest news on 18 Hours & 52 Minutes of Giving.

Shaping Lives

Growing up, Ellen Fryman Bower didn’t know much about Greek Life or joining a sorority … and if you would have told her in the fall of 2002 that she was about to join an organization that would change the path of her life, she may not have believed you. But Ellen says there was an instant connection once she stepped foot inside the Phi Mu house on the campus of University of Illinois, and one she knew would be for a lifetime.
