Neely served as Philanthropy Chair and organized her chapter’s first-ever trip to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, and also values the importance of fundraising for Phi Mu Foundation. Having a fellow chapter member who directly benefited from a member assistance grant from Phi Mu Foundation just a year ago, she has encouraged her sisters to remember that when they raise money for M3 and Phi Mu Foundation, it’s helping women they know and love continue their Phi Mu journey.

The second place recipient of the Gerald and Sheldon Pollack Award is Ansley Jones, Gamma Sigma Chapter, Georgia College. As Philanthropy Chair for her chapter, she has helped raise more than $32,000 for Children’s Miracle Network and personally completed 170 community service in just two years on campus. After the tragic loss of her chapter sister, Julia Tarver, Ansley also helped start the Julia Tarver Memorial Scholarship Fund at Georgia College with the Jammin’ for Julia lip sync philanthropy on campus.

Congratulations to these women who are making such a positive, lasting impact on their chapters and on their campuses!

Get excited … it was just announced that Phi Mu has been named to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals 2016 Miracle Million Club! Congratulations to our collegiate and alumnae chapters across the country who have raised more than $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals thus far in 2016. Not only is this an incredible honor for our organization, but also for our individual members who dedicate their time and resources to raising funds and awareness of their local CMN Hospitals through events on campus and in their communities, and by participating in CMN Hospital’s Miracle Challenge and Dance Marathon programs.

Phi Mu is in good company in the Miracle Million Club, joining other distinguished corporate partners such as: Dairy Queen, Walmart and Sam’s Club, Speedway and Rite Aid.

Phi Mu has been a proud national partner of CMN Hospitals since 1986, and has raised nearly $14 million to date for the 170 children’s hospitals nationwide.
