Foundation Convention Highlights
Phi Mu’s 53rd National Convention was an exciting time for Phi Mu Foundation. During the business session, the Foundation conducted important affairs including the adoption of bylaw amendments, the election of Foundation Trustees, reported on the Foundation’s accomplishments, and recognized loyal donors who reached new giving levels during the biennium.
Key Foundation Highlights:
- The 2014-2016 Board of Trustees were voted on by the Foundation membership. To view the Board of Trustees, click here.
- Foundation membership also voted to adopt new bylaw amendments which moves the Phi Mu Foundation to a policy governance model.
- Nearly 9,000 Caring Carnation appliques adorned the nametags of hundreds of Convention attendees. Thanks to many giving program members and other donors, the Foundation raised $45,000 in donations from Caring Carnations orders.
- A staggering 29 sisters joined one of the four annual giving programs at Convention!
