Quick M3 Checklist!

Need a quick check to make sure you’re on track for the M3 Campaign?

  • If your chapter participates in the M3 Campaign, you must submit the 2020 M3 Campaign – Phi Mu Foundation Donation Form on Officer Portal at the same time you send in your chapter’s donation. Don’t forget to add any M3 fundraiser you host to your OP calendar so that you can also submit those post-event forms.

  • When you’re ready to make your chapter’s contribution, here are three ways you can do it: send in ONE check for the sum of your contribution to Phi Mu Foundation, M3 Campaign, 400 Westpark Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269; make your chapter contribution using Billhighway online bill pay; or use your Billhighway card to make the contribution at phimufoundation.org/give.

  • If your chapter is participating in the M3 Campaign at 100%, you will receive a Sisters Helping Sisters T-shirt for each member in the chapter, in addition to recognition on the Phi Mu Foundation website and social media, and at the 2020 Phi Mu National Convention. The chapter with the largest overall contribution to the campaign will also receive a special gift from the Foundation: a chapter visit from the Phi Mu National President and Phi Mu Foundation President! As soon as your contribution and OP forms have been received, Foundation staff will reach out to you about your T-shirt sizing.

If you have any questions regarding your chapter’s participation, please contact Phi Mu Foundation Marketing and Development Coordinator Leinin Schuerr, Kappa Sigma, at lschuerr@phimu.org.

Sisterhood Auction Call for Items

The countdown to the 2020 Phi Mu National Convention is on and we are now accepting donated items for the Sisterhood Auction! The Foundation sponsors the Sisterhood Auction during each Convention to help raise funds to invest right back into our sisterhood. In the past, collegiate and alumnae chapters have put together auction baskets that represent their chapter or area of the country and members contribute special items like jewelry (Kendra Scott and Kate Spade are always popular!), special Phi Mu treasures and everyone’s favorite … vacation stays! Also back by popular demand this year will be the Vintage Phi Mu section of the Sisterhood Auction, featuring unique Phi Mu apparel, books and jewelry from decades past.

If you have an item or two to donate to the Sisterhood Auction, please fill out the 2020 Sisterhood Auction Information Sheet and include a photo of your items for promotional purposes. All donated items will receive lifetime giving credit. The final call for items is June 12.

2020 M3 Campaign is Live!

The 2020 M3 Campaign is underway and members across the country are dedicating Phi Mu’s founding month to fundraising for Phi Mu Foundation! The M3 Campaign is the Foundation’s largest Annual Fund effort, which honors our Founders during the month of March and supports the lifetime development of Phi Mu women today and for generations to come.

Throughout the month, collegiate chapters will be encouraged to participate in the M3 Campaign at 100% – meaning each active member of the chapter contributes and/or fundraises at least $18.52 toward the campaign. Collegiate chapters who contribute to the M3 Campaign with 100% participation will receive a custom-designed Phi Mu Foundation T-shirt for each member. Alumnae chapters and individual alumnae and friends are also welcome to support the M3 Campaign and all gifts of $100 or more will receive a Phi Mu Foundation umbrella, as a token of our appreciation.

You can learn more about the 2020 M3 Campaign and keep up with its progress March 1–31 on the M3 Campaign page on our website.

2020 Phonathon Hosted at Alpha Epsilon

The Foundation hosted the 25th annual Phonathon at the Alpha Epsilon Chapter at Florida State University raising more than $16,250 for the Annual Fund! The chapter connected with thousands of Phi Mu alumnae and friends and thanked them for their support of Phi Mu Foundation. In addition to making phone calls, the chapter also helped pilot a new texting platform to increase communication and reach donors who prefer to respond to a text rather than wait for a phone call. Select donors received a personal text message from a chapter member and were able to respond at their convenience. We’re looking forward to incorporating this new way of connecting with our donors into several of our campaigns throughout the year!

We’d like to send a warm thank you to Alpha Epsilon alumnae Kelley Tiller Brewer and Lori Desguin Mizell for helping to coordinate efforts with the Alpha Epsilon Chapter for the Phonathon weekend!

If you missed a call or text over the Phonathon weekend, don’t worry … there’s still time to show your support! Visit our Give Now page and click on Phonathon to make your gift today.
