One Destiny Campaign Update

The One Destiny Campaign is off and running after the public launch on March 4! With more than $12.4 million raised to date, the Campaign Leadership Team and Foundation staff have been busy securing gifts and inching closer to the $15 million overall goal. Our sincere thank you to Molly Williams, Rho Beta; Kelly Straight, Eta Beta and Ann Dahne, Delta Iota, who have all committed major gifts to the campaign this month and are helping to secure Phi Mu’s future through their generosity.

If you would like to discuss your gift to the One Destiny Campaign, please email Senior Director of Major Gifts Mandi Young, Alpha Epsilon.

Meet Member Assistance Grant Recipient Marie Tornyenu, Phi Xi

“I have Sickle Cell Anemia, which is a blood disorder that causes such intense pain, typically in my bones. (Several medical institutions rate it some of the worst pain on earth, right next to childbirth). Ever since I was born it’s been a struggle and more recently, I’ve been trying to undergo a clinical trial. It’s a stem cell transplant and I’ll have to do things like chemotherapy and exchange transfusions all while I’m in school. Because I had to make so many appointments in Philadelphia, I had to move out of my campus housing, a dorm that I loved. Phi Mu has been a place where people support me no matter what and help me grow and prosper and to know that I have even alumnae backing me up as I’m going through such a hard time in my life is really truly awe-inspiring.”

2021 M3 Campaign Results

Along with generous donors like many of you, Phi Mu chapters across the country worked hard to fundraise for Phi Mu Foundation in honor of the M3 Campaign this spring.

We are thrilled to announce that 129 collegiate chapters supported the M3 Campaign – 103 at 100%! We also had 16 alumnae chapters and chapter associations jump on board, along with 454 alumnae and friends give back to Phi Mu with a contribution to the campaign. In all, the campaign raised $254,000 for the Annual Fund, which ensures the Foundation can maintain healthy operations, while also granting funds for academic scholarships, leadership and educational programs, emergency member assistance and the preservation of our Fraternity’s history.
