We are excited to announce that Caring Carnations are now available for purchase for Phi Mu Officer Academy! As many of you know, Phi Mu Foundation Caring Carnations are one of the most exciting traditions of our sisterhood and a wonderful way to let your sisters and friends know how much they mean to you.

Celebrate your favorite Phi Mu sisters by purchasing Caring Carnations for them to wear on their Phi Mu Officer Academy name badge!

We offer two types of Caring Carnations – the Golden Quatrefoil ($10) and the Radiant Rose ($5). It’s hard to believe that the holidays are already quickly approaching! This time of year seems to always spark something inside of us…something that wills us to share with those around us just how much they mean to us…and to give thanks for how they’ve impacted our lives. Throughout the month of November, we’ll be promoting a social media campaign called #insPHIred…and we need your help!

As part of the #insPHIred campaign, we’ll feature inspiring stories every Tuesday from our social media accounts, and ask that our followers also share on social media what or who in Phi Mu inspires them the most throughout the week. Maybe it’s a sister who has helped you through a difficult time, has impacted your life in some way, or maybe you’re inspired by the chapter you’re working with and how far they’ve come. We want to invite you to join us in sharing your #insPHIred story (or stories!) throughout the month of November, to help this campaign touch Phi Mus near and far. Please use photos or videos to help tell your story, and tag us @PhiMuFoundation so that we can retweet, regram and share!

The campaign will culminate with a call to action from Phi Mu Foundation on Giving Tuesday on December 1, to honor our sisterhood and the women who have #insPHIred you with a $10 honor gift in their name to Phi Mu Foundation. We will send a special, limited edition #insPHIred digital greeting to each sister who is honored as part of the campaign. But you don’t have to wait for Giving Tuesday to make an #insPHIred gift! Click here to give today in honor of the Phi Mu who has #insPHIred you.

With your help, we could reach thousands of women with the #insPHIred campaign and remind them why our bond is so unique! Let’s spread some rose and white cheer together this holiday season!

Phi Mu Foundation Seeks Nominations for Board of Trustee Positions

Phi Mu Foundation is pleased to announce the call for nominations to serve on the Board of Trustees. There are five Trustee positions available.

In 2015, the Board of Trustees expanded to ten members and will continue this growth by electing two additional Trustee positions; thus bringing the Board of Trustees to twelve members. A total of five Board members will be elected by Phi Mu Foundation’s membership body at the 2016 National Convention in Chicago, IL.

The Nominating Committee, led by Chairman Molly Williams, Rho Beta, is currently seeking nominations for prospective Trustees who are committed to strengthening and advancing the Foundation’s mission through dedicated board service and visionary leadership. The Nominating Committee will carefully review each nomination and prepare a slate of recommended nominees for consideration.

A Phi Mu alumna may nominate herself or a fellow Phi Mu member to serve on the Board of Trustees. Eligible candidates must be a member of the Phi Mu Foundation; have Foundation or Fraternity volunteer experience in addition to non-Phi Mu professional or volunteer experience that complements the Foundation’s mission; support the objectives of the 2013 Strategic Plan; and be willing, if elected, to join the 1852 Society Giving Program as an annual contributor of $1,852 or more. If you are interested or know a qualified candidate, please take a moment to consider the elements of the Trustee position description. Before nominating a Phi Mu, remember to seek permission to submit her name before completing the nomination form.

Complete the online nomination form by clicking here.  Or, if you prefer, you may print and mail the completed nomination form to:
