Scholarship

Phi Mu members are eligible for over 100 graduate and undergraduate scholarships awarded each academic year. Most scholarships are unrestricted, but some have been established for a particular chapter, field of study, state of residence or college. Only one application is required to be considered for all scholarships.

The minimum requirement for all Phi Mu scholarships is a 3.0 grade point average. There are merit and financial need scholarships. Applicants are scored in several categories: academic, involvement (Phi Mu/campus/community), financial need, personal statements and recommendations. Donors to the Foundation receive extra consideration.

Applications are submitted online and must be completed by March 1 to be considered for the following academic year.

Ada Henry “A” Scholarship Charms

The Foundation recognizes outstanding academic achievement through the Ada Martin Henry Scholarship Charm program. Full-time undergraduate students who earn a 4.0 GPA will receive a special charm from the Foundation. The chapter’s Academic Excellence Chairman must submit a form each semester requesting charms for the eligible chapter members.
