Meet Phi Mu Foundation Scholarship Recipient Shaina Katz, Lambda Beta Chapter, Appalachian State University. Shaina is pursuing a career as a Foreign Area Officer and needed to explore a course study beyond what was offered at her university. That’s where her scholarship came into play.
When budget cuts slashed the state-funded scholarship program in her area, it left many women advised by Alpha Area Membership Director and Phi Mu Foundation Member Marisol O’ Neal to seek other sources of financial assistance … and she knew just where to turn.
